How our Worship is Structured
Our service consists of the Word of God and partaking in the Eucharist. An integral part of our weekly liturgy consists of listening to the scriptures read and expounded on in the sermon. It’s through the scriptures that we learn about who God is and His plan of salvation through Jesus Christ. We then respond by turning to the altar and giving thanks to Him for His son, Jesus, by remembering His passion on the cross for us in the mysteries of communion.
You should know two things before coming:
The first thing to know is that we follow a liturgy where the priest leads the service, and the congregation responds at the appropriate times. The thing for you to know is that there is an easy-to-follow bulletin that will guide you.
The second thing for you to know is that we do stand, bow, and make the sign of the cross, among other actions. The thing for you to know is that no one is watching you so you can simply worship along with us.
Have a look inside.

Kids at Christ the King
At Christ the King, we value the formation of our children. They have the opportunity to learn about the scriptures during Children’s Church and then continue to worship with us half way through the service. Our teachers bring the kids back in at a designated time and participate in the rest of the liturgy.
We also have a nursery available for those with little ones. They also come back during the service and worship with us. There are items available to help keep them occupied during the service.
We love to hear the voices of kids in the service because it reminds us of our access to the Father and that everyone has a place before Him!
