Men’s & Women’s Bible Studies on Fridays

This week Fr. Samuel is resuming men’s and women’s Bible studies on alternate Fridays on the Gospel of John. The men meet at Casey’s at 12 pm on flex Fridays and the women meet in St. Andrew’s Room at 1 pm on non-flex Fridays. The next meeting is for the women this Friday, May 2.

Daughters of Christ the King (DCK) Meet Next Sunday

The DCK will be meeting next Sunday, May 4 after the service in Fr. Samuel’s Office for their regular monthly meeting.

Hymn Sing on May 8

If you would like a chance to sing some old favorites and maybe learn something new, praise the Lord, and worship with your brothers and sisters in Christ while Jordan leads you through an hour of music, come to the Hymn Sing Thursday, May 8 in the sanctuary. It starts at 6:30 pm.

Mother’s Day Barbecue & Potluck

Mother’s Day is May 12 and we will be having a barbecue and potluck lunch after the service. Please plan to attend and be thinking about what side or dessert you would like to bring.

Pregnancy Care Center (PCC) Banquet

The annual PCC fundraiser banquet is May 16, but they would like reservations by May 1. There will be a cake auction if anyone is interested in donating a cake. Please see Donna Randolph for more information.

Mission of the Quarter

In honor of Lou Burrows, Love for the Least will be the mission of the second quarter. This was Lou’s favorite mission. You may remember Fr. Jerry Kramer coming to visit us at Dick & M’Lue Quinnelly’s house when Fr. Richard was here. Love for the Least focuses on giving hope through the good news of the gospel and supporting physical needs so that unreached people can flourish. You can learn more about them at lovefortheleast.org.
