Christmas Food Baskets

There are still a few items needed for the Christmas Food Baskets. Please sign up for something on the lists in the narthex and bring your items by next Sunday, December 22.

Funeral for Jay Johnson

Jay’s funeral will be on Tuesday, December 17, at 1:00 pm, in the Immanuel Ministry Center Chapel, at 1201 N. China Lake Blvd. Please enter by the south entrance. A reception in the dining hall will immediately follow. Please speak with Fran Beal if you would like to help with the reception.

Poinsettias

We will be doing poinsettias for the church a little differently this year. Please purchase your own poinsettia(s) at the store of your choice and bring them to the church on Christmas Eve before 2:00 pm. Please let Melody know you will do this by submitting your name with your dedications on a form you will find in the bulletins by this Thursday, December 19.

Kid’s Cookie Bake

The children will be decorating Christmas Cookies on Saturday, December 21, at 10:00 am in St. Andrew’s room. Children of all ages are welcome to join in on the fun.

Christmas Eve Service

The Christmas Eve Service will begin at 2:00 pm in the sanctuary with 30 minutes of carols. The Holy Eucharist Service will begin at 2:30 pm. There will be a potluck fellowship following the service.

Stewardship Letter & Pledge Card

Please check your mail folder for your stewardship letter from Fr. Samuel and your pledge card. Filled out cards may be placed in the offering plate or returned to the office by Sunday, December 29.

Pledges and Offerings

We are not meeting our expenses with the gifts we have received for his year. We are more than $7,000 in the red. If you are behind on your pledge, be sure to make it up this month so we can end the year in the black and pay all our bills. For gifts to be counted for 2024, they must be received by Sunday, December 29, 2024. Thank you for your generosity!
