Announcements – March 12, 2023

  • Instead of our normal Holy Eucharist Services at noon on Wednesdays in Lent, at 5:00 pm, we will be having an Evening Prayer service, potluck soup supper, and teaching time. Starting in the sanctuary, we will move to St. Andrews room so you may enjoy your meal while Fr. Fabien teaches on the book of Hebrews. There is a sign up sheet for food on one of the refrigerators in the kitchen.
  • On Saturday, March 18, the Anglican Fourth Day Meeting and Ultreya will be at our church. The meeting starts at 10:00 am, then there is a potluck lunch, followed by the Ultreya at 1:00 pm. Everyone is invited to partake in these events.
  • There will be a Lay Minister Planning Meeting for Holy Week on Sunday, March 19, following the service, in the sanctuary. If you are able to serve between April 2 (Palm Sunday) and April 9 (Easter Sunday) please stay at the church for a few extra minutes.
  • Please listen for information about the food baskets that we will prepare for needy families for Easter. Our Community Connections Committee that consists of Michael & Tiffany Palmer and Rebecca Mulvey is organizing this with assistance from Deacon Debby. We like to deliver these baskets the week before Easter which is the first week in April so the time is quickly approaching. We will need lots of different food, cleaning, and paper products. Sign up for the things you will bring on the list in the narthex. Thank you!
  • March 26 will be the last date to give to the current Mission of the Quarter: Love for the Least, a movement transformed by Christ, sharing His Love with the Least of these. Their vision is for locals to share the gospel, to create healthy multiplying churches along the Highway of Holiness; all 31 states in Iran; and Turkey. Their work is quite extensive, as they do not only discipleship and work with refugees in the Middle East, but also help orphans and widows in Africa. Soon they plan to head to Turkey to help Christian leaders there after the earthquake. For more information about all these things and more, go to LovefortheLeast.org
